The Role: What you will do?

The Role -

We work in partnership with the NHS, supporting the UK’s mental health service’s with over 30 years of experience, in Making People Better.

An exciting opportunity has arisen within our IAPT Team in the Leicester, Leicestershire, and Rutland (LLR) area for an Interpersonal Psychotherapist which is delivered through multiple channels of telephone, secure video link and face to face.

Essential

  • Qualification from IPT Approved course that is IAPT Approved.
  • IPT accreditation or eligibility for IPT accreditation via IPT UK.
  • Ability to conduct comprehensive risk assessments and formulate risk management plans
  • Working in a service where agreed targets are in place demonstrating outcomes
  • An awareness of and commitment to supporting and facilitating diversity and inclusion
  • Willingness to travel, which may include overnight stays on occasion, as and when required

Desirable

  • Experience of providing IPT within an IAPT Service
  • Experience of managing a large caseload of clients
  • Qualification in a CBT, EMDR approved IAPT modality
  • Experience of delivering supervision in IPT
