The Role

A permanent role working Monday to Friday, in this newly created position as Inventory Controller Team Manager, you will have opportunity to define the process architecture that oversees the accuracy of inventory levels at all points within the businesses achieving the end results:

Improving stock accuracy by zero tolerance of material variances by managing process adherence across multiple functions

Manufacturing efficiency attained by accurate component records ensuring material ready for use

Achieving the customer service measure of 100% in full by accurate finished goods records to fulfil order demand

A successful day in your role will involve:

Developing and implementing inventory control procedures and best practice working closely with operational teams and finance

Maintain and keep business system and excel monitors accuracy on stock movement from Goods in, production usage in line with BOMs and postproduction adjustments and specifically CHEP pallet management

Conduct daily analyses by creating a suite of KPI's- reports on inventory to highlight potential issues and take corrective action:

Plan and support daily, weekly, and monthly cycle counting in line with business expectations

Propose strategies to reduce costs and improve procedures across the supply chain and logistics operations

Optimise inventory on hand to satisfy production demand

About You

We’re looking for someone who:

- Has previous experience of working within a similar role

- Self-motivated, energetic, hands-on individual with the operational focus to deliver and exceed expectations

- Problem solves with creativity

- Strong organisational skills for planning

- Team player

- High level knowledge of MS Excel

- A degree or professional qualification will be advantageous
