We have an opportunity for an IT Category Specialist to join our Office of the Deputy CEO department. You will report into the Procurement Manager and will be responsible for managing the IT category within Procurement (IT hardware, Software, data services, PaaS, SaaS, IT consultancy and providing first stop in-house contractual advice in relation to supplier contracts.

This role includes responsibilities such as maintaining accountability for the development and execution of the IT Category Strategy to achieve organisational objectives. Completing supplier reviews, monitoring SLA’s and reporting on contract performance and analysing costs and identify cost saving opportunities. You will work with work with Compliance to complete Regulatory requests received from FCA, PRA and Lloyd’s. The role also involves reviewing and approving third party commercial contracts for all IT services and outsourcing agreements.

The successful candidate will have demonstrable in IT category strategic procurement / supplier management role for multinational company. Regulatory experience regarding material outsourcing, cloud outsourcing and operational resilience is essential. The successful candidate will also have excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships with suppliers and stakeholders, able to challenge in a positive way.
