Whilst putting this job advert together we realised that we normally (along with everyone else) just talk about what a great company we are and then write a big shopping list of expectations of what we want from the applicant.

But really there are just a few key things that matter. Firstly, Strafe Creative have offices in Nottingham and London, but to be honest, we’re flexible with where you work. Some of our team pop in, some are fully remote, so it’s completely up to you. Another key thing to note is we really try to look after staff; lots of socials, budgets for courses/personal development, food, drinks and a really good family support package that includes enhanced maternity/paternity leave.

Avoiding the standard list of expectations, we just want someone who loves designing websites. We love designing and want the same sort of people around us. We’re less worried about your CV and more concerned with seeing a portfolio that shows awesome web and digital UX work. A covering letter which isn’t just a copy and paste job is always a winner too; it shows you’ve looked into us a little more and have passion to find the right role.
