** JUNIOR GRAPHIC DESIGNER **

Sticky Baits is one of the most dynamic and forward-looking brands in the fishing industry. We have a passion for angling and making quality bait of course, but our other philosophy is to inspire and inform through visually engaging content.

With a recent move to our new factory we are looking to expand our creative team. Fishing experience is not essential – but we do need someone who is as passionate about design as we are about fishing!

We’re looking for an aspiring graphic designer who is looking to take their first or next step into a creative role. The ideal candidate is calm, yet driven, disciplined and able to work to the deadlines demanded by a relentless marketing schedule. If not already, you will work to become an expert in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator and be able to switch seamlessly between online and offline campaigns while meeting the correct standards.

We are a company that like to do as much as we can in-house which requires someone who is highly motivated, happy to join wider marketing discussions, keep an eye on marketing trends throughout media and social platforms as well as being prepared to take on new challenges.

This is a full-time position based at our new premises in Newland just outside of Hull. Salary would be negotiable, dependent on experience.

Key responsibilities

• Work closely with designers alike and alongside the rest of the media team in producing visually engaging content.
• Understand and maintain a solid brand identity for Sticky Baits and other brands.
• Produce strong imagery for social media platforms.
• Maintain and create engaging content for our website and email campaigns.
• Work to tight deadlines whilst producing magazine adverts to a high standard.
• Produce on brand in-store banners and point of sale for our stockists.
• Work alongside our photographer to improve and maintain our extensive library of photography.
• Gain an understanding of our products and competitors within the industry.
• Fishing experience is not essential but building on your fishing and bait knowledge will benefit you.

Requirements: * A creative portfolio showcasing your work is essential.

• A good understanding of Adobe CC: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop is essential.
• Competency in Adobe CC: After Effects would be beneficial.
• Knowledge of design for web would be beneficial (Wordpress, MailChimp).
• Photography experience would be beneficial.
• Transport is essential due to remote location.

Salary: £20,800.00-£24,960.00 per year
