The Role
Field based – You will need to attend regular (bi-weekly) meetings at our Head Office in Milton Keynes. We are open to where you live.
Our Commercial Utilities team has an opportunity for the role of Key Account Manager. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate a track record of building strong relationships with decision makers and influencers and creating value by contributing to the enhancement of current service offerings and the development of new ones. They will have the ability to proactively identify opportunities and drive these through to delivery and have excellent knowledge and understanding of the Energy Market and the associated regulatory frameworks and commercial risks. Job Purpose
Key Responsibilities
You - Essential
Demonstrable experience in successful relationship building, contracts and contract negotiations.
Adept at directing customers and managing employees at all levels of business.
Previous business development experience particularly demonstrable ability to close business.
High level commercial exposure (networking a C level)
You - Desirable
Market research or consultancy experience
Experience of IT in business solutions
Marketing / Market Research experience
Project Management Experience including analysis, design & execution
Excellent working knowledge of Utility industry.
