IQVIA is currently recruiting for an exciting Key Account Manager to shape and direct our client’s presence in the immunology landscape across Oxfordshire, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and North Hants.

What we are really looking for is someone who has a proven track record of excellent project and budget management skills, impactful customer interactions, and expert business acumen, with the ability to learn new skills efficiently.


As a Key Account Manager, you will:

  • Demonstrate an understanding of specialist immunology treatment dynamics
  • Provide true partnership by connecting with customers within immunology to grow awareness of the therapy area, support customers with service provision in this area and educate them on the treatment regimens and ensure patients receive optimal treatment
  • Provide a high-quality commercial approach to maximise growth of our client’s products.
  • Produce and implement bespoke initiatives from a business plan that enables clinicians and patients access to our client's products.
  • Maintain a high degree of therapy area knowledge, critical customer engagement and NHS policies (both local and national) by proactively removing barriers to prescribing and providing solutions where appropriate to ensure the use of our client’s products.
  • Liaise with both internal and external customers in a professional manner.

We are looking for a Key Account Manager with:

  • Degree in Life Sciences or equivalent
  • ABPI Medical Sales Representative exam
  • A proven track record of pharmaceutical KAM sales experience, demonstrating a high level of business and commercial acumen
  • Rheumatoid Arthritis and Inflammatory Bowel Disease sales experience is desirable
  • The ability to develop positive relationships with all clinical and non-clinical business partners
  • An ability to network and gain access to relevant customers
  • Up to date knowledge of the customer environment, including the NHS budgetary and planning processes
