This is an exciting new role leading the clinical pharmacy service provision and medicines optimisation to our virtual wards at Nottingham University Hospitals. We are currently investing in developing a range of virtual wards across multiple clinical specialties. In this post you will work with the Pharmacy Leadership Team and the wide multidisciplinary team to develop systems and people to deliver an excellent clinical pharmacy service encompassing new ways of working in a virtual environment.

In this role you will work with a high degree of autonomy to represent the Chief Pharmacist in senior meetings at Trust and ICS level and to ensure that systems and processes around virtual wards are built with medicines safety, governance and optimisation supported.

You will act as a clinical role model within the team, delivering a patient-facing clinical service as part of your role. You will drive the development and delivery of the highest quality of pharmaceutical care and be supported by the Pharmacy Department and Directorate Leadership Team to continually improve our service.
