We are searching for passionate technologists to join our team, building solutions for Client onboarding & controls on e-Trading platform. Candidates must be highly motivated with a proven track record of success in design and implementation of software solutions. Experience or understanding of e-trading systems is preferred. The ideal candidates should have a deep understanding data structures, design patterns, solution architecture and performance tuning. We prefer candidates with a range of software engineering experience who are capable of analyzing the problem, designing the solution and seeing it through to implementation.

In this role, a candidate manage a small team developers who build server side and GUI functionality for systems that enforce controls on the e-Commerce business. In particular, these systems include pricing, trading, and order management. Controls are realtime on/off switches that apply or release the brakes on a variety of metrics, including credit and regulatory trading limits. Candidates would be accountable for the overall success of the systems, including design, development, deployment, optimization, and day-to-day operation.

This Java development role is in the Investment Bank, and requires close work with the risk traders and sales teams. The front-office environment is demanding, but one where creativity and problem solving skills are rewarded. A strong and entrepreneurial technologist will thrive in this role.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent experience

• Experience in managing small team of developers (4-6)

• Experience in managing business partners

• Proficiency in Python and Java development

• Proficiency in Oracle/SQL development

• Proficiency in Javascript/UI frameworks is a plus

• Investment Banking experience preferred
