Neuberger Berman is running an eight-week Summer Internship Program between the months of 19 June to 18 August 2023. We are looking for enthusiastic team players with a desire to work on a wide variety of projects. Below is further information on the internships and we are ideally looking for penultimate or final year students. This is not a rotational program, however we will be hosting a variety of training sessions and events to help you gain insight to our global business.

Alts Legal Europe supports NB’s global private equity business with fundraising, transactions and providing general counsel. We have three lawyers in London (as part of a wider global Alts Legal Team of 10) and sit with the European private equity team working closely with the business in a collegial work environment.
  • Initially shadow the London-based lawyers on various projects (and potentially shadow our US colleagues on their projects)
  • Work independently on projects instructed by Lawyers, with appropriate support and supervision
  • Conduct research and present on the topic
  • Review certain legal agreements (for example, Non-Disclosure Agreements) and, to the extent comfortable, negotiate such documents directly with the counter-part, with appropriate support and supervision
  • Assist with transaction management
  • Review fundraising materials
  • Join team calls
  • Join calls with service providers
