About the role

The purpose of this role is to provide UCL members digitised articles/chapters from journals and books UCL Library Services hold. This means collecting material to be scanned, using dedicated scanning equipment and Alma, and then returning material that has been used.

The appointment is a permanent position.

This is an on-campus role. It is not suitable for regular remote working.

About you

Previous experience of working in a busy, customer focused, environment is essential to this role. You must have at least 5 GCSE’s Grades A*-C (or equivalent), Maths and English being two of these. The successful candidate must be able to work methodically on various tasks while communicating with the rest of the team their position so a good communicator is essential to this role, with excellent interpersonal skills. Knowledge of a Library Management System is desirable but good IT skills, with general MS Office products, is essential.
