CFO Hub is seeking a Consulting Finance Analyst/Management Accountant level individual to help manage the accounting functions for various clients. This position is initially a part-time position with an opportunity for full-time employment in the near future. The ideal accountant candidate has experience in technical accounting P2P, O2C, Reconciliations and financial statement preparation with Analyst candidates having additional experience in financial modelling and strategic project management. Public accounting experience is a plus for both levels.

Ideal candidate would live within commuting distance of Watford and Rickmansworth area.

Qualifications:

• Solid understanding of UK GAAP and IFRS
• Ability to work as an effective part of a team, also independent, on-site, Hybrid or Remote
• Comfortable with meeting deadlines, budgeting, forecast, Process Optimization
• Sage 200 and other accounting/ERP system experience Required
• CIMA | ACCA | ICAEW Qualified or Part Qualified Finalist
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is required
• Good Knowledge of key accounting processes eg P2P, O2C
• Resourceful and comfortable with the unknown - not afraid to Google

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Monthly financial statement preparation
• Management of bookkeeping, cash, and management of AR/AP function
• Monitor and improve upon clients' internal controls
• Manage and/or assist with the implementation of accounting systems and processes

Here’s what your first year might look like:

• Within the first 3 days… You will be fully onboarded and set up in company’s administrative systems.
• Within the first month… You will be trained to successfully follow and implement established company processes and work closely with clients, staff, managers, and directors.
• Within the first 3 months… You will be able to address and highlight key areas of improvement and route all client questions coming in effectively and navigate all relationships with partners and staff.
• Within the first 6 months… You will have responsibility of enough client engagements so that the rest of the team is not overloaded, while leading assigned engagements from start to finish and daily client interaction and management.
• Within the first year… You will have been proactive to identify problems that will or have arose, and you have offered actionable ideas/solutions to partners.

Pay: £200.00 per day
