The Oakdale Group provides a wide range of specialist assessments, including for autism, ADHD, and developmental trauma. Oakdale also provides a wide range of psychological therapies for children, young people and adults. Many of our services are commissioned by the NHS, Local Authorities and schools, and include services for NHS staff. Others are accessed by members of the public who pay for them privately, through medical insurance or through our charitable arm.

Oakdale has Clinical Centres in Harrogate, Leeds and Halifax and also delivers services from other consulting rooms in the North of England and remotely on a nationwide basis.

Job Summary

Oakdale Group are now seeking an enthusiastic Marketing Assistant to join our team as we continue to grow.

We are looking for a driven, ambitious individual, with a willingness to learn and develop their skills. We’d love someone creative who wants to get involved in all areas of marketing, enjoys creating content, is passionate about social media, has strong copywriting skills and can help with website related tasks. An individual who is creative with a passion for social media.

The Role

The Marketing Assistant will support the Organisation in planning, creating, delivering and reporting on all aspects of marketing and communications. This exciting and varied role will involve creating engaging content for a variety of mediums aimed at a diverse audience, gathering content from across our services and sites, assisting with the creative concept, planning of all marketing and communications campaigns, delivering key messaging to internal and external stakeholders and updating the Organisation’s website on a regular basis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Using appropriate planning & reporting to develop marketing and communication plans that reflect the needs of the Organisation as a whole.
  • Work with key internal stakeholders to deliver agreed marketing communications that meet objectives.
  • Help to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing and PR initiatives to ensure that they are meeting agreed objectives.
  • Contribute to internal meetings, updates and reports to support the ongoing development of the organisation.
  • Keeping informed of trends regarding “what works” in terms of informing people and enabling them to take action.
  • Proactively create and schedule a range of engaging posts for social platforms that engage, educate and drive revenue.
  • Respond to inbound social media communications, ensuring a coordinated and consistent message is provided to external audiences.
  • Create webpages, posts and landing page content.
  • Produce email marketing campaigns that capture key messaging and monitor performance.
  • Ensure web content is accurate, engaging and up to date.

Person specification

  • Self-motivated and able to work alone as well as be a team player.
  • Able to plan work efficiently, coordinate and motivate staff to ensure joint projects meet deadlines.
  • Be a clear and efficient communicator, with excellent writing, and presentation skills, capable of producing engaging content for a variety of platforms.
  • Ability to produce, present and explain complex information.
  • Be process-driven and a logical thinker.
  • Willingness to adapt and learn new skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy essential.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 22.5 per week

Salary: £14,400.00-£16,800.00 per year
