Are you a commercially focused individual who is passionate about marketing? As a Marketing Assistant you will be responsible for assisting the proposition teams across the AA Financial Services and AA Cars Motor Finance businesses. You will manage end to end marketing campaigns that are key objectives for our business area.

You will have the opportunity to work with the product teams where you will also help to refine propositions aligning with wider Group Marketing brand positioning initiatives. Working closely with the Senior Aggregator Manager and wider commercial team, you will be responsible for supporting the relationship with Bank of Ireland.

Ideally you will have extensive experience of driving commercial outcomes within marketing campaigns. Within this role at the AA, you’ll have the chance to really own the activity and will get access to senior stakeholders on a daily basis. What will I be doing?

• Providing weekly campaign and proposition reporting support to the AAFS team
• Maintain the marketing initiatives and product changes calendar for all AAFS and car finance initiatives
• Writing campaign and creative briefs, and managing the end-to-end creative creation process
• Day to day monitoring of our aggregator performance and activity
• Managing financial promotions approvals process, register and calendar ensuring any finance promotion within the AAFS or AA Cars website is current and up to date
• Marketing administration, invoicing, and compiling reports
• Basic design tasks including creating PowerPoint presentations
• Collating weekly and monthly partnership performance presentations
• Arranging partnership meetings and collating notes and actions

What do I need?

• Experience in a similar role
• Experience of campaign management and financial promotions
• Experience of working closely with colleagues within a functional matrix will also be key
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office Suite including PowerPoint and Excel, willing to learn Adobe Suite
• Demonstrable understanding or interest in marketing, either through previous employment or education. Previous financial services experience would be advantageous but not necessary as training will be provided
