POSITION

Ardbeg has a big reputation and has a cult status around the world as The Ultimate Islay Single Malt whisky and we are looking for a Marketing Intern to join the team!

We are looking for a Marketing Graduate who is keen to work in a global fast-paced marketing environment. The successful candidate will join an experienced international brand team, making this a brilliant opportunity to learn and develop within the field of marketing whilst working on one of the world’s most respected whisky brands.

This 12-month internship opportunity will be based in Edinburgh, Scotland. The proposed start date for this role would be by end March/early April 2023.

As Marketing Intern, you will be responsible for supporting the Ardbeg Brand Team with a variety of administrative, communication, and project-based tasks ultimately contributing to the further success of the Ardbeg brand.



PROFILE

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the brand team with product development & activation projects. This includes the development of presentations and materials for key stakeholder groups.
  • Support the management of Internal Communication systems. This includes the management of brand assets, media library and product portals, and internal websites.
  • Support the management and development of Point-of-Sale Materials (POSM) and assess market needs for additional POSM items.
  • Assist in the management, organization and set-up of Ardbeg Team meetings, pan agency days, Brand Boards, and other ad-hoc meetings to ensure they run efficiently and smoothly.
  • Support the team with budget administration and budget planning processes.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to support Brand Managers worldwide with ad-hoc brand education requests.
  • Assist with ad-hoc marketing team requirements (e.g. Stock requisitions, deliveries, transportation of props to Moet Hennessy meetings etc.).

Technical Skills Experience Required:

  • University graduate within the field of Marketing
  • Knowledge of Brand Marketing
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (particularly PowerPoint)
  • Numeric and commercially aware
