Senior Business Manager (Commercial Banking)
Lloyds Banking Group
Edinburgh based (hybrid working pattern, 2 days per week in office & rest from home)
Salary & Benefits: £52,245 to £60,953 base salary, depending on location and experience.
Additional Package: Annual personal bonus, 15% employer pension contribution (when you put in 6%), 4% flexible cash allowance, private medical insurance, 30 days holiday plus bank holidays.

Who are the Markets Platform?
We provide end to end management and development of Financial Markets, Capital Markets and Trade Services for the Corporate & Institutional Banking business in Lloyds Banking Group.
We think we are fun (others might challenge that) but we are definitely a friendly, engaging and hard-working bunch. There is a lot to deliver over the next few years and are hoping to find someone to come on the journey with us to build a world class Platform to support an exciting and growing part of the bank.
Who are the Business Management Team?
The team is passionate about supporting and guiding the Platform and Lab leads to achieve Business goals. Business Management are the go-to people when it comes to finances, delivery governance, people and processes. If we don’t know the answer, we definitely know someone that does!

You'll network with senior leaders within CBBT, supporting with future ways of working and proposed strategies, finding opportunities and risks, driving forward actions and taking control for resolving problems.
The role:
A Lab Business Manager is responsible for all the operational aspects of one of the Platform Labs working alongside the PO and EL to go above and beyond, providing advice and guidance on financial management as well as governance and compliance. The Lab leads should be able to turn to you to help them get the right to the right answer.
The smooth running of internal Lab meetings that review delivery, financial and operational positions are a key function and as lead, will be encouraged to embed a robust approach to the management and reporting of risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies.
In other words you are the lynchpin for the Lab.
What skills, experience and knowledge do I need to apply for this role?
We like to see applications from diverse cultural and industry backgrounds. As a minimum to be considered we would need to see evidence in your CV of the following:
Prior proven experience as an Business Manager/Project Management Officer (PMO)
Previous experience of financial management, forecasting, investment spend and cost management processes.
Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
Experience working with project governance & reporting tools.
Risk management, governance, resource management, recruitment, and reporting experience.
Qualitative analysis skills including basic data interrogation (Strong MS Excel Skills)
