Hiyacar’s purpose is to connect drivers to a car when and where they want one. Our cities are full of underused cars so we have to be smarter about mobility. We need fewer cars used more efficiently and a new model of car access, not car ownership. Cars depreciate and lose money--they are liabilities not assets. We are currently on the lookout for the right people to join our Member Support Team and help us expand our member support service beyond the day/evening hours. Having said that, this role will cover overnight shifts - Sunday, Monday and Tuesday - 11PM to 7AM.

What you’ll be doing:

• Being the first point of contact for our members, providing the 5 star experience that we pride ourselves on both over the phone and via live chat
• Supporting and giving advice to members on a broad range of issues
• Working to identify common issues and improve our system
• Reviewing applications from new members and helping them to complete the sign-up process where necessary
• Reviewing claims arising from bookings and resolving any issues including cleaning and parking tickets & other penalties

We are looking for someone that:

• Believes in working with purpose, and principles over detailed rules.
• Can work independently with little to no supervision due to the nature of the role
• Is a great communicator
• Having previous experience in a customer support position is preferable
• Loves helping people, has a passion for excellence in customer service and a great sense of empathy.
• Finds problem solving exciting, stays curious about it, and is able to understand members’ point of view.
• Understands the value of supporting other team members and building relationships with them - being a team player is a big part of the role.
• Has initiative, is proactive and has a constant desire to learn.
• Is able to actively ask for help when something is unclear
• Is comfortable doing night shifts (11PM - 7AM)

Hours, remuneration and benefits:

• Salary: £12.50 per hour (or over £14k per annum)
• Night shifts from Sunday, Monday, Tuesday - from 11PM to 7AM
• Fully remote
