We are committed to hosting three summer interns from 19th June - 28th July 2023 to work across the Operations Function with a focus on Strategic Projects. The internship will provide first-hand experience of working with C-suite executives and impacting the productivity within the business. The internship offers direct access to understanding commercial acumen and its influences on the financial services industry.

First stage interviews will take place from week commencing 6th March 2023.

Second stage interviews/group assessment day will take place from week commencing 27th March 2023.

OVERALL JOB PURPOSE


Strategic Projects


The Intern will support the COO with a focus on Strategic Projects & Innovation focusing on the design and delivery of key initiatives across the business. The Intern will develop core Consulting skills – identifying opportunities to drive the company’s objectives, conduct analysis, implement solutions that enhance efficiency across the business, and communicate change.

Supporting the COO across key pillars: People & Culture, Operations & Efficiency, and Technology & Data.


Conducting reviews of existing processes across the business and developing proposals to address challenges identified.

Mapping key business processes, attending workshops and documenting stakeholder interviews to inform operating model changes.

Developing clear and articulate communications and material – e.g. Company Handbook, Learning & Development material, etc.

Leading on specific aspects of overall project plans from conception to delivery – including reviewing reporting, developing automation solutions and embedding Analytics.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES


Developing relevant KPIs and running regular reports to support with monitoring the impact of specific initiatives and change.

Running data analysis, benchmarking and report development to support decision making.

Running market research to support business development initiatives.

Supporting with embedding key changes across the business.

Supporting with administrative tasks across the Practice.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

  • Demonstrated interest or experience of working within a financial services sector
  • Experience of building rapport and interacting with clients effectively
  • A driven individual with a focus on client service and leading a high-performance culture
  • Adaptable to change management plans and advocate business initiatives
  • Highly skilled and organised to manage multiple case management progress channels
  • Strong numerical ability and ability to analyse financial data and performance metrics
  • Confidence and ability to influence senior stakeholders
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as follow directions from managers
  • IT technically proficient including Office 365
  • Committed to advocating and encouraging an inclusive and diverse team culture.
  • Understanding the benefits of the wellbeing agenda and promoting an open and considerate culture.
