Job Description Summary

We have an exciting opportunity to join our MR Sales Specialist team at GE HealthCare; a team that partners with our customers to provide innovative technology enabling faster, more informed medical decisions.

As the MR Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for winning business and supporting account managers within the assigned area - mainly the Midlands, UK. Within your assigned geographic area, you'll be responsible for selling MR, including site visits and delivering presentations. The role also requires a strong collaboration with customers, both existing and new, as well as with various functions within the company. Our roles work in true partnership with our customers, and to enable successful customer impact, some travel will be required across the territory.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Developing in-depth knowledge of sales territory, product lines, markets, sales processes or customer groups. Uses prior experience and acquired commercial expertise to execute policy/strategy.

  • Work with the Modality Manager & Sales team to identify customers’ needs

  • In-depth understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work. In-depth understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.

  • Uses prior experience and on-the-job training to solve straightforward tasks. Has access to technical skills and analytic thinking required to solve problems.

  • May use multiple internal sources outside of own team to arrive at decisions.

  • Communication with direct colleagues and the business about design and coordination services rendered. Provides informal guidance to new team members. Explains complex information to others in straightforward situations.

Qualifications and experience

  • Strong MR background

  • Knowledge of GE’s MR products desirable

  • Radiographer degree or Biomedical Engineering school or equivalent

  • Clinical or commercial experience in the healthcare industry

  • Ability to travel and be at customer sites/GE headquarters

  • Valid driving license

  • Fluent in English
