National Account Manager – Ecommerce / Amazon

Location: Walton Oaks, Surrey on Hybrid Contract

Your Job

The Customer Account Manager in our fast-growing Ecommerce Business unit is a pivotal role in accelerating growth with Amazon, Ocado and Online Marketplaces of some of the biggest household brands in the UK – Andrex, Kleenex and Huggies.

You will join a team empowered to own + act at speed but with agility and creativity by adopting an innovative and open-minded approach to business challenges in the dynamic eCommerce space. The teams will look to you for strategic direction and online expertise. You will learn from and work closely with industry leaders cross functionally and dedicated Ecommerce experts in both the UK and EMEA Ecommerce capability teams.

This is the ideal role for a high performing National Account Executive ready to make the next step, or an National Account Manager looking for a new challenge and greater career progression opportunities at a top-tier FMCG company. An expertise and passion in Ecom and the broader digital space is a must where you will be part of a team responsible for developing and driving the overall eCommerce strategic transformation.

What does the role involve?

  • Build plans with your Pure Play customers that deliver budgeted sales, volume and profit growth as well as market share and online KPIs.

  • Negotiate and agree JBPs, plan events, promotional calendars and launch NPD with brilliance.

  • Work with Marketing, Category, Digital and other cross-functional teams to deliver superior in-market execution and implement category strategies.

  • Work with Supply Chain to closely manage availability and find ways to drive operational efficiencies across our Pure Play customers.

  • Build and manage paid search campaigns with our Ecommerce agency to ensure K-C wins in search and continues to drive higher share across priority search terms.

  • Share learnings and best practices with local and regional stakeholders. Embrace Test & Learn initiatives and champion the big wins.

  • Establish and maintain solid business relationships within the organisation and ensure we have the contact strategy to ‘Unlock Full Potential’ in the Pure Play space.

What are we looking for?

  • Prior account management experience in the online channel is essential, ideally within FMCG and a solid understanding of the different eCommerce growth levers. Experience with Amazon would be advantageous.

  • Experience of sales forecasting and profit modelling along with knowledge of Category, Shopper and Consumer data sources.

  • Strength in data analysis with the ability to translate a variety of data into actionable insight.

  • Ability to engage and influence a wide range of internal and external stakeholder groups across the business with strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • A self-starter – you are curious, solve problems independently, see opportunities and make them happen with tenacity.

  • Ideally you will be degree educated but this is not essential.
