The Victoria Maternity unit was built in 2012, with approximately 3500 births per year.
We are in a position to offer permanent contracts. There are various hours for nursing auxiliaries to work within the maternity care settings.
These care settings include Midwife Led unit, Consultant Led Unit, Maternity Assessment. Maternity ward, Induction of Labour, Community Teams and Antenatal Clinics.
You will work as part of the multidisciplinary team, including medical and midwifery staff. This being to provide care to the woman and families of Fife. Various shift patterns available. Duties include some aspects of patient facing clinical work as well as housekeeping and cleaning.

If successful in your application, you will be offered the opportunity to undertake an SVQ2 or SVQ3 (dependent on band) in Health and Social Care, approximately 9 months after taking up post. It is expected that you complete this qualification, which will be fully funded by NHS Fife. Your Line Manager will provide you with more information once you are in post
