Job description
The Telecoms Team based within Information Services (IS) at Queen’s University Belfast, is currently seeking to appoint an exceptional candidate to the post of Telecoms Technician.

About the Role: This is a customer facing role that provides specialist technical support to ensure the effective delivery of a comprehensive suite of Telephony and Unified Communications services to staff across the University. This will include installation, system administration support / fault finding across the range of telephony services to deliver a timely, accurate and high-quality service.

About You: You will already have substantial experience in a customer facing role providing a technical support role to include some of the following:
  • Support of a telephony/UC system
  • Support of customers using PC’s/Mobile Devices
  • Installation of applications software on Windows and Apple devices
  • Experience in supporting Office 365 stack.
