Job description - Operations Analyst
In this Operations Analyst role, you will be integral to the running of a successful Hedge Fund. You will be in a small team, working directly with the COO, which means you will have the opportunity to learn loads and take responsibilities across the board from trade processing, NAV capture and the development of a portfolio management system.

Because you’ll be involved with the development of the portfolio management system, you will need to be able to learn technical skills quickly; although prior technical expertise is not required.

You will have the opportunity to quickly develop into an Operations Analyst - this role offers a strong development pathway.

Key responsibilities - Operations Analyst
In this Fund Operations job in London, your responsibilities will include:
  • Trade capture and processing
  • Cash and positions reconciliation
  • Nav reconciliation
  • Cash management
  • In-house Portfolio Management System development
  • Overall fund administration
  • Supporting the COO

Job requirements - Operations Analyst
  • Prior experience in this type of role is essential. To apply for this role you must have experience working operations in a hedge fund/private equity/investment sphere, or have middle office experience
  • A minimum of 2.1 from university
  • Strong numerical ability
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Ability to pick up technical skills quickly. Prior technical knowledge is beneficial but not essential. The company codes in C# so you can learn this if you don’t already know it
  • Fantastic attention to detail, with the ability to keep many plates spinning at once
