Responsibilities
Use business experience to work with designated Business Unit(s) to deliver successful operational performance
Contribute to identification and design of business change and process improvement initiatives based on understanding of Business Units and their operational performance
Identify and escalate operational performance challenges within the Business Unit to the Head of Business Operations including planning for improvement
Manage individual projects within designated Business Unit(s)
Use business experience to work with the Head of Business Operations and wider team to identify business change initiatives and process improvement opportunities and contribute to design and planning
Project manage change initiatives
Manage key stakeholder engagement on change initiatives
Be a source of guidance and best practice for the business units and assist in problem solving / solution identification
Develop and implement Management Information to enhance GEC’s understanding of operational business performance and to allow identification of improvement areas / success of change initiatives
Assist in delivery of Group Operations strategic objectives.
Input to Group Operations annual plan/budget production.
Adhere to and meet fully the expectations of Miller, as set out in its policies and procedures, training material, and embedded in its systems and controls. Our policies and procedures are written to encapsulate the compliance, legal and financial crime related legislation and regulations which apply to Miller.
Comply with any external rules and requirements imposed on individuals performing their role at Miller, such as Lloyd’s byelaws and FCA rules.
Promote Miller brand and values to enhance Miller’s reputation in the market
Qualifications
A Level
Insurance qualifications advantage but not mandatory
Knowledge
Insurance broking processes
General knowledge regarding FCA framework
Project management / process improvement knowledge preferred
Experience
Experience working in the Insurance Broking industry and in particular London Market
Experience of engaging with and influencing a wide range of stakeholders across business units
Track record of involvement in continuous improvement projects
