Unicomp Ltd, a well-established, family-owned business who are a leading printer and POS spare part supplier, service and warranty provider are seeking a Operations Support/ Administrator to join their friendly team to work at their site in Borough Green, Kent.

Unicomp Ltd are an ISO accredited company who provide a high quality and market leading service to our UK and International customers with some customers dating back four decades.

Working as part of our busy team, the ideal candidate will be a quality driven organised individual who is able to work under pressure while maintaining a strong customer focus.

Joining a current team of 4 in the operations department , the role is very varied which may encompass some of the following elements , dependent upon business requirements and the candidates experience and capabilities:

· Logistics Administration

· Quality

· Service Delivery

· Purchasing

· IT

· Customer Service

· Health and Safety and facilities

· Project management

The Role will be varied across departments and will require training to understand how the business works as a whole. Examples of tasks could be chasing service delivery to ship goods on time, or preparing customs documentation, analysing reports, or purchasing parts on the system. It will be a fast paced job and requires dynamic person to work under pressure within the team.

Responsibilities:

Reporting and Administration

· Analysis of reports, looking at trends and relaying information from reports

  • Reporting internally to inform the business

· Purchasing, planning and ordering stock

· Provide administrative support to departments across the company including some elements of Customer Services, Operations, Accounts, Logistics, IT, Service Delivery & Stock Control

Delivering Service to Customers

  • Compiling reports for Customers
  • Tracking repairs through the workshop
  • Communicating delivery progress to customers
  • Communicating with customers and supporting customer service where necessary
  • Organizing collections with customers and liaising with couriers as required
  • Processing quotes and orders on IT System

· Identify part lead times and confirm to the customer

· Collating KPI’s for customers

Delivering Quality

  • Ensuring the quality of Unicomp Service and distribution
  • Collating KPI’s for suppliers
  • Looking for efficiencies and improvements in the process
  • Reviewing processes and making recommendations
  • Designing, creating and documenting processes
  • Liaising, benchmarking suppliers

Operations support and administrator requirements:

  • Good Excel skills essential
  • Computer literate and proficient in a variety of other computer software applications including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
  • Logical thinking, understanding of holistic systems and how individual parts fit together
  • Good abilities to communicate
  • Good organizational skills & attention to detail
  • Conscientious with a strong sense of quality
  • Strong customer focus
  • Ability to work and take instruction from managers but also to work independently
  • Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize own workload and work to deadlines
  • Flexibility and willingness to help in all departments

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £24,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
