PACKER DRIVER - Early mornings.
Menzies Distribution are looking for a Delivery Driver to join our team. You’ll be working on behalf of Menzies Distribution Limited and its customers, providing a first class service with our team in Derry.
What You Really Want To Know
- The salary for this role is £188.50 per week
- This is a Day position
- You will be working Saturday & Sunday early mornings - 12.30am - 09.00am
- This role is based on a 16 hours per week
- This is a permanent position
- The amount of drops will vary day to day dependent on what is required to be delivered that day.
DELIVERY DRIVER DUTIES
- Check the quality of packed orders
- Manually unload and upload parcels for delivery (inc pallets)
- Make sure the vehicle is loaded safely and within the legislation
- Ensure parcels are delivered to residential and commercial customers safely, efficiently and on timp
- Ensure security of the vehicle and goods contained during transit
- Complete all documentation as per company procedure
- Keep the warehouse safe, clean and tidy
- Adhere to company procedures and policies
DELIVERY DRIVER REQUIREMENTS
- Held a full and valid UK Drivers Licence for a minimum of 4 years
- No previous disqualifications for NI, DD or DR
- Familiarity with most of the streets and commercial addresses
- Physically fit to meet the demands of a multi-drop driving role
- Hardworking, positive and a flexible attitude to work
- Great customer service skills
