Further to recent recruitment to our growing team, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Childrens OT to join the South West Hants Paediatric OT team, the largest of the Paediatric OT teams within Solent NHS Trust. We are an evolving, proactive and strong supportive team who welcome new ideas and members.

We are looking for a highly motivated, flexible, creative experienced OT who is motivated to develop their clinical skills with children. The role will focus on Early Years children predominantly in the Andover area and include some children with a range of motor learning and physical disabilities in mainstream schools. Your role will also involve supervision and line management and helping to develop the OT pathway for Early Years children.

Excellent working relationships with early years, schools, health/social care colleagues allows us to share our expertise more widely and create innovative ways of working together to better meet the needs of both the child and their family.

We have a phone advice line, Schools Therapy Pack, we run regular INSET days to empower families, pre-schools/schools to support children at a universal and targeted level.
