We are currently seeking an experienced Bookkeeper / Accounts Assistant who will be required for 1 to 2 days per month. This is to support the Company Accountant in processing the monthly core records using Sage Line 50 software.

Ideal candidate will be based locally for collection of monthly paperwork , etc.

Role

Your primary responsibilities shall include:

• Processing monthly:
• Purchase invoices
• Sales day sheets
• Credit card transactions
• Paypal transactions
• Bank statement transactions
• Petty cash transactions
• Import Sales invoices
• Maintaining the sales ledger
• Maintaining the purchase ledger
• Preparation of monthly bank reconciliations
• Setting up of new supplier accounts and maintaining existing account details
• Monthly supplier statement reconciliations

• Experience of Sage 50 accounting system
