What you’ll be responsible for:
· Providing leadership, expertise and training in the full range of People processes within the operational business units, including resourcing, workforce planning, complex employee relations, performance management and employee engagement.
· Act as an integral member of the business unit management teams, contributing to the development of units’ strategic direction and business planning processes, and providing leadership to support the achievement of the operational vision and objectives.
· Understanding the contractual arrangements for the services and analyse data/KPIs to ensure that areas for concern are identified and solutions to address them are put in place.
· Working with the wider People Team to ensure that the Trust People Strategy and Plan are implemented effectively within the business units, tailored to the units’ needs as appropriate.
· Working with the Assistant Director and business unit managers to ensure that there is a clear, consistent approach is taken to the application of people policies and processes.
You’ll learn the following whilst working at the trust:
1. An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS
2. Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times
3. A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation
You’ll have the following skills/experience:
· Excellent communication skills- both verbal and written
· Microsoft office skills- Outlook, Word, and Excel
· Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
