A great opportunity has become available for an experienced and professional Chauffeur to work for an ultra-high-net-worth family based between Brentwood, Essex and Mayfair, London. Responsible for safely driving the principals to and from business meetings, appointments, events, and shopping trips, you will also undertake airport runs, and occasionally cover longer distances when required.
The ideal candidate will have corporate driving experience and must be accustomed to driving and maintaining a high-end fleet of luxury vehicles, which will include the upkeep and cleanliness of the vehicles. A well-presented professional, you will also be an effective communicator, liaising with the principal and the PA to ensure that you are familiar with the weekly itinerary and schedule. You will also be highly organised and tech-savvy, able to comfortably manage modern navigation systems and keep on top of the vehicles’ insurances and MOT’s, with administrative support from the PA.
You will need to be an experienced and confident driver with excellent knowledge of Central London streets and surrounding areas, able to navigate traffic and remain calm in all circumstances. Due to the nature of the principal’s business, flexibility and the utmost discretion are essential requirements for this role, as is a friendly and professional ‘can-do’ attitude.
Working 40 hours per week from Tuesday to Sunday, you might be required to work additional hours (up to 50 hours per week, depending on the principal’s commitments) with overtime paid at £20 per hour. You will also be guaranteed one full weekend off per month. The clients are looking to appoint an honest, trustworthy, and loyal candidate to remain with them for the foreseeable future.
DUTIES TO INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
· Driving principals to meetings, appointments, events, and shopping trips
· Airport pick-ups and drop-offs
· Cleanliness and maintenance of all vehicles in the fleet, including fuelling the vehicles
· Liaising with the PA on MOT’s, taxes, telematics, insurances etc.
· Route planning and operating navigation systems
· Ad-hoc errand running
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
· Prior experience as a Chauffeur driving prestige vehicles
· Professional, calm, and safe driver
· Full, clean UK driving license
· Personable and a brilliant communicator
· Impeccably presented an ambassador for the principals
· Discreet, reliable, and trustworthy
· Tech-savvy and excellent knowledge of operating navigation systems/phones/laptops
· Based in Central London, North East London or South West Essex to allow for an easy commute
· Willingness to get an Enhanced DBS check done (paid for by the client)
· Fluency in English
· Excellent checkable references
