The role
Our Secure Cloud team are looking for a new addition to the team – a Project Manager passionate about providing impeccable delivery experiences across customers such as the NHS, local and central Government, the Ministry of Defence, and more.
Collaborating with stakeholders and delivery teams throughout the whole business, this role would be to manage and successfully deliver a wide range of projects with a key focus on infrastructure, bespoke security requirements, and compliance.
What will I do?
Gaining full understanding of stakeholder requirements and ensure this is met in project delivery whilst keeping within budget
Tasked with identifying project deliverables & outcome as well as project estimation, risk analysis & contingency identification
Project planning, resourcing and management is a critical part of this role
The successful candidate will maintain customer & stakeholder relationship management
You will be completing project documentation & it’s management throughout project delivery
Stakeholder presentation & meeting ownership
Project communications and progress reporting
Project Budget management
Have an in-depth understanding of functional specifications & requirements before signing off on delivery
Familiarity in dealing directly with technical functions including architecture, software development, test, release management, database, network, cloud platforms and IT operations
Mentoring and giving support to other project managers in the team
What will I bring to the role?
Significant experience delivering enterprise level projects at a senior level
Leadership skills with past experience in leading a project from end to end
Experience with mentoring and coaching other project managers
Excellent project management skills with previous experience of delivering IT infrastructure, cloud and/or connectivity projects
Prince 2 qualification or similar
Agile methodology experience
Excellent customer service skills, and the ability to develop and build relationships with sometimes complex and challenging customers
Previous exposure with both internal and external stakeholders
Self-motivated with an ability to work effectively under pressure
It would be desirable if you have experience of working in a service provider / integrator / reseller environment
Eligibility to go through the Security Clearance process
