Role profile

The role of the Project Manager is to oversee feasibility studies and validation trials of Ozo’s solutions within the client’s facilities. This involves liaising closely with our clients to scope the project, liaising with Ozo’s internal functions including Technical Management, Engineering and Purchasing to schedule trials and ensuring the scope of the trials is fully understood and followed by all parties, with all relevant documentation completed and data recorded as required. The role may also involve planning and supporting equipment installations at customer sites in the UK or abroad.

Key requirements for the role include:
Experience in building strong customer relationships and providing excellent customer service.
To lead, manage and coordinate projects effectively.
To deliver project KPIs and milestone targets.
Working closely with Customer Delivery and Engineering teams.
Communicate effectively and provide regular, accurate progress reports.
Mitigate risks through detailed planning and applying processes consistently.
Ensure continuous learning feedback is effective and that performance continually improves.
Ensure all RAMS are reviewed and logged.
Liaise with Finance to prepare and validate budgets, and maintain accurate cost reports and cost-to-complete forecasts.
Work with multi-disciplinary teams including chemists, engineers, buyers, account managers, quality controllers and outside vendors.
Ensure all works comply with food safety requirements.
Ensure systems are completed to Ozo standards and fulfil customer technical specifications.

Qualifications and Experience Required

Project management qualification (e.g. PRINCE2, PMP).
Conversant and experienced in the use of Microsoft Project to prepare and monitor detailed Gantt plans.
Knowledgeable using stage gate methodologies for projects
5 – 7 years of project management experience ensuring completion on time, within budget, to agreed scope and meeting customer expectations.
Organised, able to manage time and effectively prioritise tasks.
Consistently set high standards of behaviour and a strong work ethic.
Enthusiastic and self-motivated; able to work under pressure.
Flexible about working hours.
Experience preparing project budgets and scopes.
Knowledge of Health and Safety best practices.

Desirable

Experience working within the food industry.
Six sigma certified (green or black belt)
NEBOSH or equivalent H&S trained.
CDM experience

Day Rate of up to £400/day
