About the Role
You will take ownership for managing projects and initiatives for the Responsible AI & Data Science (RAIDS) team. You will be working on the implementation of the RELX Responsible AI Principles. The wider team are responsible for developing policy, process, tools, resources & training to support the organisation. This includes working with Data Science, machine learning & AI in embedding the Principles into day-to-day activities. You will collaborate with stakeholders to define deliverables, create road-maps and manage expectations and budgets. You will be key in ensuring we execute and deliver successful projects on-time, to quality and in-budget.
Responsibilities
  • Developing and implementing policies, standards and best practices for the responsible use of data and model development across the enterprise
  • Managing projects that vary in complexity to deliver successful business outcomes
  • Defining deliverables, creating roadmaps and managing budgets through establishing acceptance criteria and expectations with stakeholders
  • Collaborating with stakeholders across our organisation to execute deliverables, manage delivery road-maps, establish project schedules and resolve issues
  • Providing project governance and reporting to ensure standards are followed
  • Identifying and understanding internal and external dependencies
Requirements
  • Have inquisitive mindset and interest in AI ethics and data governance
  • Have basic knowledge of Agile, software development life cycle and experience using Jira, Confluence and Project Management tools
  • Possess a natural ability to engage and influence stakeholders and present technical content to a range of audiences
  • Be able to understand a high-level road-map and align and manage tasks for successful delivery
  • Enjoy collaborating with teams to design a strategy to solve problems and implement solutions
  • Be proactive in managing risk and issues to delivery
