Responsibilities

• Reviewing and correcting written content for grammar, punctuation, spelling, and syntax errors
• Ensuring consistency and clarity in the language and style of the text
• Making suggestions for rephrasing and rewording sentences as necessary
• Communicating with the team/author to ensure that all feedback is taken into account
• Meet tight deadlines Ensuring the text is compliant with the client's instructions Provide academic feedback

Requirements

• Undergraduate or Master's degree
• Native fluency in English
• Strong proofreading and editing skills
• Ability to give strong academic feedback
• Excellent attention to detail Strong command of grammar, punctuation, and syntax rules
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work under tight deadlines
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat Pro
• Experience with editing and proofreading a plus
• Familiarity with Chicago Manual of Style or other major style guides a plus
• Experience with technical or legal documents a plus
