We are recruiting for a Radiography Assistant who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.

The role is patient-focused, service-driven and requires flexibility. You will work closely with the multi-disciplinary team to support the provision of a high quality imaging service. The main components of the job will be with patient care, and scheduling appointments for the different types of scans carried out in the Paul Strickland Centre: CT, MRI and PET/CT. In addition, will also include reception duties.

To be an integral part of the administration team, engaging in all aspects relating to patients attending the Centre.

To answer telephone enquiries sensitively and appropriately, with a view to resolving the enquiry.

To be able to work autonomously as well as support the overall admin team.

To assist with any clerical duties which support the smooth running of the Centre.

To have a good working knowledge of a range of information technology and applications and be able to manipulate data and produce performance reports, KPIs, trends and stats analysis for the Centre when required.

To take payments from patients, either cash, card or cheque on behalf of the Scanner Centre.

To cover other team members’ work during annual leave and absence.
