About the Role

LV=GI have a fantastic internal opprortunity for a Regional Account Manager to join the LV Broker Distribution team. You will be working within an agile team as a homebased employee with regular travel required to our LV and Broker’s offices when required.

In the role of Regional Account Manager for East Anglia, Essex, and the North and East London regions, you will be responsible for managing, developing and monitoring the broker relationships and sales activity with a specified panel of Personal Lines brokers.

This position will be focused on brokers in the East Anglia area, you would need to be based in a commutable distance covering Cambridge, Peterborough, Norfolk, Sussex, Essex & Lincolnshire.

About You

You will have previous experience in business to business relationship/account management, and experience managing or participating in high level relationships. A background in General Insurance and/or Broking is desirable.

You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex or technical information in a simple way. You will enjoy problem solving, and when required, have the ability to influence and negotiate to achieve great outcomes.

You will have excellent planning, organisational skills and the ability to produce, understand and interpret statistical information. You will have the ability to deliver accurate work under pressure against agreed deadlines with.

You will be able to articulate a developed understanding of current and future drivers in the broker market and ideally have a good working knowledge of standard industry software house EDI systems and protocols.

You will have knowledge of FCA Regulation and Broker governance procedures

The Details

  • In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Achievement of new business volume and premium targets together with renewal business retention as specified KPI’s.

  • Managing the relationship between brokers and LV=Broker management, broker services, pricing, underwriting and claims department.

  • Managing quality control both in terms of broker delivery and quality of business to meet profitability targets.

  • Acting as contact point and working proactively on credit control matters with Brokers, in conjunction with Finance, looking for payment discrepancies, and settling disputes with the intention of agreeing level and payment of debt.

  • Taking an active involvement and contribution to bespoke pricing decision with LV=Broker pricing and underwriting teams to support specific concessions for brokers to boost sales.

  • Identifying and developing new broker accounts.

  • Identifying cross sell opportunities for all LV= products.

  • Participation in Broker and Corporate hospitality events to enhance Client relationships to ensure commitment.
