Charlies Stores is an independent, growing company, which operates within the retail sector. At Charlies Stores we pride ourselves in being able to meet all of our customer’s needs - from footwear and cooking utensils, all the way through to chainsaws and camping; we sell quality products, from famous brands, at competitive prices.
We are currently looking for Full Time/Part Time Sales Assistants to join our Carmarthen Store team in the Housewares Department.

The ideal candidate would have strong retail experience, good knowledge of a wide variety of products would be beneficial, and this department has the emphasis of changes within the business retail cycle e.g. Summer products, Gifts ect.

As Sales Assistant you will be required to do the following

• Provide excellent customer service by being friendly, approachable and ready to help whether on the shop floor or working on the tills.
• Report any suggestions or concerns to the Departmental Supervisor.
• To operate the tills when required, creating a positive lasting impression of the store and ensure customers leave with everything they require.
• Be flexible and willing to work on any department within the store as the business needs.
• Work as part of a team, support colleagues and be collaborative in working practices.

The hours 42.5 - 25.5hrs per week. The store is open 7 days a week with weekdays late night opening; the rotas are over 7 days.

Excellent working conditions and rates of pay, age dependant.

Previous retail experience in a fast-paced environment would be advantageous.
