• You'll be leading a multi-skilled team to provide HR, employment law, safety, health and environment advice to business clients and industry sectors

What you'll do

As a Safety, Health & Environment Consultant Team Leader, you’ll be creating and implementing a proactive contact strategy to identify client needs. Through coaching and direction, you’ll build an understanding of the needs of your clients to provide the right advice, consultancy and training services.

You’ll also be:

• Managing the onboarding of new clients and delivering an excellent service
• Coaching and developing your team to deliver new business growth through referrals for services, networking and business generation activities
• Making sure that any information, advice and guidance is suitable, appropriate, technically correct, relevant and communicated in a clear way

The skills you'll need

You'll have a professional health and safety or environmental qualification and a minimum graduate membership to the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health, a GradIOSH, while working towards chartered membership, a CMIOSH.

Alongside this, you should have a NEBOSH qualification and good people leadership skills, as well as excellent planning, organising and time management skills. You'll also be a great communicator with outstanding interpersonal skills to coach and deliver feedback.

Furthermore you’ll need:

• Excellent standards of detail to deliver great services and an understanding of how to identify customer needs
• The ability to lead business solutions and bespoke service offerings
• Excellent time management skills with the flexibility to serve customers in a way that suits their needs
• An understanding of how to adapt to changing regulatory requirements
• The communication skills to liaise with regulatory bodies or legal counsel
