The main responsibilities of the job include:

• Serving customers and dealing with enquiries
• Providing shopping advice and recommendations to customers
• Processing cash and card payments
• Handling product returns and exchange requests
• Addressing customer complaints
• Receiving, unpacking and arranging new deliveries of stock
• Arranging and labelling goods in the display shelves and windows
• Moving and rearranging stock within the stores
• Keeping the sales floor area clean and tidy at all times

Skills needed for the job:

• Be able to work in a team
• Strong verbal and oral communication skills
• Sales and persuasive skills
• Customer service and good interpersonal skills
• Working knowledge of the shops products

No prior work experience is necessary.
