The Sales Consultant Industry (f/m/d) is responsible for all sales activities relating to the Industry sector, within East Midlands, in order to achieve substantial sales growth, focusing on industrial applications for Hach products.

This position is part of the UK Industry Team of 9 colleagues and is a remote/home-working role based in East of England covering territory Doncaster, Sheffield, Nottingham Lincon and Peterborough.

We make water analysis better – faster, simpler, greener, and more informative – via unsurpassed customer partnerships, the most knowledgeable experts, and reliable, easy-to-use products.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Take responsibility for all Hach Sales into Industry Market in NE England. Visit, liaise, and discuss the process and laboratory solutions with customers.
• Develop strong relationships with customer base and trust in the solutions provided
• Develop your knowledge of water analysis solutions and water treatment techniques
• Develop a career in a truly Global Organisation
• Work in a diverse and friendly atmosphere
• Manage your own diary and have the flexibility to balance work and personal life
• Work with some of the best experts in water analysis and water treatment solutions.

What we are looking for:

• A degree in Chemistry, Biology, Environment Sciences or equivalent experience. Alternate science degrees will be considered
• Excellent communication skills
• Comfortable representing products that are technical in nature, with experience gained in a technical product environment

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Water and wastewater treatment
• Sales experience in a technical B2B environment
• Laboratory skills and water analysis
• Managing sales projects ~£100k+
