Toshiba Carrier now has an opportunity for a Sales Manager, this is a home-based role. The main goal is to identify and develop new business opportunities and grow the sales in conjunction with our direct and distribution sales teams

What will I be doing as a Sales Manager?

  • Effective Key Account Management of nominated direct customers Target and identify new/potential account customers (M&E, Main Contractors, Developers)
  • Grow the Toshiba overall business quoting and selling products from light Commercial to VRF systems.
  • Achieve sales targets and develop new business
  • Offer guidance and assistance on the correct use and application of our products
  • Offer industry knowledge and guidance on legislation to ensure future protection
  • Conduct joint sales calls when necessary with UK Direct &/or Distributor sales team to assist in development of our sales network
  • Prepare a weekly/monthly update report charting customer progress and highlight new business to your line Manager

Requirements

  • Technical knowledge of VRF and split systems
  • Strong sales background in HVAC specifically VRF market dealing with installing contractors & M&E’s &/or specification consultants
  • Knowledge of HVACR industry
  • Competitor knowledge
  • Good Communication skills – verbal, written and presentation
  • HNC/HND or City & Guilds Engineering or related subject
  • UK Driving Licence
  • IT Literate with MS Office skills
