The role

Based at the Fort Dunlop in Birmingham, Brookwood Recruitment are a specialist talent consultancy with a strong reputation for service delivery and tailored solutions for our global client base. We work in partnership with some of the biggest and most recognisable companies and have successfully helped clients deliver change programs across IT, business operations, digital, tech and HR.


We are currently recruiting for a Sales Manager to join us in expanding our sales team and leading the business through our next period of growth. Your role will be to not only bring in new business opportunities but also to build an engaged, challenged, and motivated sales-focused team, and in return will be rewarded and incentivised for your efforts. You will also have a dedicated resource team to lean on to help support in fulfilling your client’s needs.


We are looking for someone who has a proven track record of sales in their recruitment career and is looking for a senior management opportunity where you will be given full autonomy to lead the department and introduce changes as you see fit. You will be responsible for using various methods of attraction to bring in new business including site visits, networking events and client mapping. You will need to be sales focused to stand out and be successful in this role as Managing Consultant.


You will be given all the training and support you would need to have a long and rewarding career within recruitment here at Brookwood. We have an extensive tech stack which cuts out all the mundane boring bits of recruitment and allows you to have more time focusing on provide a first-class service to your clients.


About you

  • You will have a proven track record in both recruitment and sales
  • You will understand the recruitment industry and the full 360 recruitment cycle
  • You will be an excellent communicator with the ability to deal with stakeholders at all levels
  • You will ensure your team is achieving both financial and activity targets set
  • You will have previous experience of managing a small team
