About the role:

Our School Account Managers build powerful relationships with our schools to secure the repeated launch of successful trips. The School Account Manager will work to ensure the best possible support for our teachers, the effective delivery of our programme to students and the continuation of a meaningful relationship with every client school’s senior leadership.

What you will be doing:

  • Foster great relationships with all School Leaders in order to ensure they feel fully supported throughout the programme.
  • Establish regular contact with Key Decision Makers such as Heads, Governors and Senior Leadership Teams. This may involve presentations, meetings (mainly through Teams or Zoom), letter and email writing as well as phone conversations.
  • Proactively manage the client portfolio in the given territory to ensure annual revenue targets are met, ensuring that every repeat sale reaches its full potential by carefully managing each school.
  • Proactively analyse individual school needs and respond to their requirements.
  • Design and support the promotion of the launch of the trip within the school and enable the School Leader to deliver student presentations to all applicable year groups.

What we are looking for:

  • Love building positive relationships and confident at presenting to teachers, senior leadership teams, parents, students.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Be prepared to get out of the box and think creatively.
  • A passion for travel and student development, and previous experience of working in an Account Management role.
  • Ability to commit to flexible working hours including some anti-social hours during core selling season in order to fulfil requirement to deliver student and parent presentations to schools, and to attend some weekend conferences.
