CIS Security have an exciting opportunity available for a Security Officer for one of London’s top estates spanning from Regents Street through to St James to Kensington Palace. This includes some of London’s best places to work, shop and experience, regional retail and leisure destinations, and a substantial rural portfolio.

We are looking for someone who will demonstrate and deliver high quality guarding and customer service to both our clients and service partners. This position functions as a part of the physical security provision to provide security protection to the staff, residents, premises, and assets.

Information:

• Position: Security Officer
• Location: London (W1F 7BZ)
• Pay Rate: £12.00 per hour
• Hours: 60 hours per week
• Shifts: Days only - Monday to Friday 0700 to 1900

Job Role / Requirements:

• SIA Licence required
• Residential or Corporate Security & customer service experience for at least 3 years
• High level of customer services skills, with a friendly, professional, courteous and outgoing character
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Strong IT skills with a proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
• High level of discipline, taking pride in your appearance, ensuring immaculate presentation, excellent timekeeping and conduct
• Flexible in the approach to daily duties and additional events when held on site
• Able to work as part of a team as well as on your own
• First Aid qualification & CCTV SIA Licence are desirable
• Be able to provide all the documentation and vetting information requested

Job Duties / Responsibilities:

• Ensure that residents and visitors are dealt with efficiently while ensuring an exceptional high standard of customer service, personally taking responsibility for their requests to ensure they are completed, if not exceeding their expectations
• Able to demonstrate and deliver high quality guarding and customer service to both our clients and service users.
• Ensuring Assignment Instructions and Standard Operating Procedures are followed
• Be calm under pressure and confident in dealing with confrontational situations in a calm and professional manner
• Physically fit to complete patrols internally and externally and able to stand/walk during shift
• Have the IT skills and ability to understand and use varied Access Control, CCTV systems and platforms / integrated systems
• To cover the reception desk and assist the concierge with the efficient running of reception with professionalism and knowledge
• Management and responsibility of the site keys including the Key Hub for the residential properties, ensure all logs and key presses are up to date and audited.
• Oversea any works on site, ensuring permits and approvals are in place, contractor sign in, access control and escorting, updating residents and client of progress and ensuring safe working practices are maintained
• Effective communication through Escalation processes, Report Writing, Daily Logs and emails.
• Able to understand Corporate Escalation Process, - Escalate and Disseminate information in a timely manner to the correct personnel in the event or during an emergency or Incident on site.
• Monitoring and use of CCTV, Fire Alarms, Intruder and other electronic systems
• The implementation of Health and Safety, Fire Regulations and other in - house safety/environmental policies
• Ensure the safety of residents, visitors, contractors, staff and couriers who are working on, or require access to site
• To assist in any other reasonable duties as required, including the redeployment to other sites on the portfolio if required
