CIS Security have an exciting opportunity available for a Security Officer who will be an ambassador to represent CIS Security who will demonstrate and deliver high quality guarding and customer service to both our clients and service users. This site is based in E14 and spread over four buildings comprising 650,00 sq ft of office and retail space.

• Position: Security Officer
• Location: London (E14)
• Pay Rate: £11.95 per hour
• Hours: Average 56 hours per week
• Shifts: 7 on 3 off & 7 on 4 off - 12 Hour Shifts - Days

Job Role / Requirements:

• SIA Licence required
• Security and customer service experience is required
• Physically fit to complete patrols externally outside, so must be able to stand/walk for extended periods of time
• Must have good command of English language
• Good levels of customer service, communication both written & verbal at all times
• Flexible in the approach to daily duties and additional events when held on site.
• Deterring anti social behavior, theft and criminal activity.
• The ability to and think on your feet in fast paced situations.
• Maintains working knowledge of the locations & security & safety for assigned areas
• Flexible in the approach to daily duties
• First Aid qualification & a CCTV SIA Licence is a bonus
• Must have five years of checkable work history

About You:

• Able to demonstrate and deliver high quality guarding and customer service to both our clients and service users.
• Able to work in a team as well as on your own and have the ability to be pro-active and think on your feet use initiative
• Be calm under pressure and confident in dealing with confrontational situations in a calm and professional manner
• The ability to think on your fee in fast paced situations
• Deterring anti-social behaviour, theft and criminal activity
• This position involves external patrolling throughout the shift
• Confident in writing incident and shift reports
• The ability to be pro-active and think on your feet use initiative
• To always portray a friendly, professional and courteous demeanour, using open and appropriate body language.
• To ensure that all visitors and staff are dealt with efficiently, providing an exceptional customer service at all times ensuring that their expectations are met, if not exceeded.
• The role includes you to conduct opening & closing procedures of a building, patrolling, reception duties, access control, answering incoming telephone calls, Conducting emergency procedures.
• To have a smart appearance befitting the company
• Be confident you are able to undertake 100% of all specific duties
• Be able to provide all the documentation and vetting information requested
