We are looking for part time security officers to work as part of the team in delivering the overall services. Both roles require a DS SIA License

There are two roles available

21:00-06:00 Friday and Saturdays

To patrol the car parks three levels looking for any issues like homeless or skateboarders that need to be managed. Making sure areas are clean, free of litter utilising our on-site cleaner.

Customer service with the Hippodrome/Glee Club and general customers and assisting car park staff (Euro Car park) with hippodrome end of night. From Midnight manning the exit and entry lanes controlling entry from unauthorised access, but allowing entry to tenants of the centre and apartments. Patrol checks of the car park looking for vulnerable persons and any other issues reporting back to the control room via radios. From 03:00 to assist the centre security team in night club turn-out by manning the barriers and directing customers towards exits of the centre till about 05:00. The car park then will be reopened at 05:00 where a full car park patrol looking for venerable persons, drink drivers and any other issues before finishing at 06:00.

The role is manning the exit and entry lanes with having to refuse entry to certain persons but allowing entry to tenants of the centre and apartments. Plus being able to assist with the centre team and police in dealing with incidents inside the car park. Patrolling the car park one person at a time looking for vulnerable persons, drink drivers and any other issues.

You will be an SIA DS licensed individual and be ok with using a body worn camera and being able to communicate effectively on the radio system is essential.
