Our team is growing and we are looking for Senior Consultants. We deliver impactful business change through five disciplines [project/program management, change management, communications & engagement, learning and creative design] to highly regulated, safety driven, compliant and asset intensive organisations.

The Role

As a Senior Consultant you will have a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in business consulting and will have formalised your professional development and be passionate about growth. You are a proven critical thinker who is confident in bringing creativity and challenge to client discussions. You will be someone who brings positive energy, is relentlessly curious, loves learning, works well under pressure and thrives on helping clients solve problems. Working equally well as part of a team or independently, you are self-motivated, confident with current technology and enjoy building and developing strong client relationships. As a results driven and delivery focused person, you will flourish as part of the Afiniti team.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Work in partnership with our clients to co-create impactful business change strategies thinking about full change lifecycle
• Delivering technology, process and organisational driven change programs
• Articulate and produce change strategy, applying creative thinking to bring it to life
• Identify key stakeholders and document approach and plan to take them on the change journey
• Carrying out change impact assessment to inform change strategy
• Articulating the change story – identifying WIIFM for key stakeholders
• Starting with the end in mind such that business outcomes are able to be accomplished
• Producing compelling and creative communications and engagement deliverables
• Building, supporting and sustaining change agent networks
• Identify and manage risks and issues, proactively developing contingency plans and solutions

Skills and knowledge:

• A relevant degree or equivalent work experience
• Professional development qualification (e.g PROSCI, APMG, IOIC, LPI)
• Proven business consultancy experience
• Ability to confidently use current technology and systems
• Experience in and exposure to business change in a range of industry sectors
• Ability to scope change management consulting in terms of deliverables, resources, schedules and constraints
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills working with both quantitative and qualitative data
• Technical ability and a proactive interest in creating and leveraging digital solutions to support change initiatives (e.g. Google Sites, SharePoint)
• Experience in project management – agile and waterfall
• A highly creative mind-set and significant experience in briefing and working with designers to produce creative communications materials, such as presentations, videos and animations
• Excellent writing, including storytelling and production of a key message framework
• Confident presentation and facilitation skills
• Ability to plan and lead workshops
• Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills, with a track record of successful relationship management at all levels
• Strong commercial awareness and the ability to balance commercial constraints with high quality delivery
