An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and dynamic individual to join our forward thinking organisation.
Second Step is a leading mental health charity in the South West offering housing, support and hope to thousands of people with mental health and other problems. We promote mental health and wellbeing by supporting people and communities to build brighter futures.

We currently have a vacancy for the role of Senior Operations Manager. The Senior Operations Manager supports the Chief Executive and the Director of Quality and Performance in the strategic leadership and management of a portfolio of services. The post holder will lead our community & wellbeing services. As a member of the Senior Management Team, the Senior Operations Manager will have a pivotal role in achieving the objectives of their teams and the objectives of the wider organisation.

We are looking for an experienced and self-motivated individual to lead a portfolio of operational services, service development and service delivery. You will have significant experience of implementing, leading and managing complex health, care and support services coupled with excellent management skills. You will have experience of transforming services to ensure they develop and keep in step with our commitment to be constantly improving and learning. You will be able to demonstrate your ability to develop and maintain strategic relationships with partners, commissioners and policy makers.
