We are looking for a dynamic, forward-thinking pharmacist with excellent clinical and IT skills to join our pharmacy team as a specialist pharmacist for our ePMA system. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with an interest in IT and patient risk and management, looking to expand their practice and gain experience in project management and digital transformation.

The Trust has implemented our Cerner Care Records Service (CRS) for electronic prescribing and medicines administration system on all our inpatient wards, OPD and ED. We are now looking to undertake new projects for future developments and make system improvements to continue to drive our patient safety agenda.

A high level of computer literacy is required to be able to input clinical detail into the Cerner system. You should have experience in using a hospital ePMA system.

Exceptional clinical skills are essential hence the requirement for a postgraduate qualification in clinical pharmacy / pharmacy practice. You will need excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be able to influence change. The post will also provide the opportunity to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, develop your management skills and undertake project management and IT training as required.

You will be expected to participate in the on-call, weekend, Bank Holiday and late duty rotas.
