Summary
We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Pricing Analyst to join the Everest International Pricing Team supporting our underwriters across all Classes of Business, including but not limited to Financial Lines, Medical Malpractice and Liability. This role will be supporting all teams across all geographies within the International Division.
We’d love to hear from you if you are taking exams and/or close to being qualified, and have gained relevant experience working in a (re)insurance environment coupled with excellent attention to detail, good organisational and communication skills, and a logical and analytical mindset.

This position will be based in our London office with a hybrid schedule of working two days remote each week.
Key responsibilities:
Pricing of complex contracts across multiple lines of business
Participate in broker and client visits and renewal meetings
Closely collaborate with Underwriters on technical assessment and exposure analysis for different classes of business
Ongoing monitoring of premiums, commissions, exposure, and claims activity and emerging trends
Development of technical pricing tools and regular updates of pricing assumptions
Contribute to the development of streamlined and efficient pricing processes
Explaining technical actuarial modelling results to underwriters and providing training
Analysis of portfolios to highlight profitability and their drivers
Development and maintenance of actuarial models, systems and processes
Keep abreast of industry initiatives and develop new pricing/visualization techniques and best practice
Collaborate, present and share knowledge with the wider Actuarial team on pricing approaches
Ensure data used for pricing and monitoring is complete, accurate, adequate and timely
Skills & experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics or Related area
Near Qualified actuary, preferably with experience of Non-Life Insurance and/or Reinsurance Pricing
Evidence of good progress towards an actuarial qualification
Experience in non-life insurance, preferably in a London Market / commercial lines insurance company, MGA, or consultancy
Demonstrate good knowledge of actuarial pricing concepts and methodologies
Strong mathematical and analytical skills with great attention to detail
Ability to build strong working relationships with peers, management and different business functions
Proficient in Excel, Access, VBA, SQL (with either R or Python skills desirable) and an ability to create pricing tools to support day to day underwriting workflow
Ability to work under own initiative and show flexibility to meet business needs
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. European language skills welcomed
Ability to collaborate across teams and regions through regular communication with colleagues in other locations.
